Do I need to know about international trade to import my products as a company?

No, our advisors will provide you with assistance at every stage of the process, from negotiating with the supplier until your operation is complete.

What documents do I need to quote an import?

To provide you with a quote, we need documents that your supplier provides once the order has been negotiated. These include order information, merchandise weight and volume, as well as technical product information. These documents are: Proforma invoice Packing list Data sheet

I have asked my supplier for the documents, but they will not send them until I pay. What can I do?

Sometimes suppliers pressure you to buy, but it is important to have a quote before paying abroad so you can see how much the product will actually cost delivered to your door. These documents are necessary in any import process. We recommend finding a new supplier who can work with you and send you the necessary documents.

Can I import foreign brands?

Yes, as long as you have permission to distribute or use the brand. Otherwise, importing goods with a registered trademark may lead to fines or even criminal charges.

How long does it take for my order to arrive at my home?

Depending on the quantity or volume, if it is by sea, the approximate time in an import process is 25 days of international maritime traffic and approximately 7 business days in the import process. Unlike by air, depending on the type of shipment quoted with your supplier, air cargo has an estimated traffic time of 7 days, and another 7 business days in the import process.

Do I get an invoice for my international purchase?

Yes, when the merchandise is dispatched, a customs declaration (pedimento) is issued. This document declares the value of the merchandise and taxes, and it is used for tax declaration purposes.

What do I need to import from abroad?

First, you need to be registered with the SAT (Mexican Tax Administration Service), and then apply for registration in the Importers Registry. We can help you with these procedures. If you do not have an Importers Registry, we can help you explore options such as renting a trading company, at low costs and with professional advice at all times.
